Hi,
Recently for the purpose of Implementing PR approval we have configured the standard workflow for Overall PR approval (WS20000077) as per Release Strategy. I have successfully been able to complete the workflow on development environment however I have the following Questions / Observations.
1) For the purpose of Evaluation of Release Strategy dynamically as per the roles assigned we have implemented the user exit
M06B0001 (Role determination for purchase requisition release) , Function Module - EXIT_SAPLEBNF_001, Report Program ZXM06U12
I am successfully able to determine / evaluate the responsible people for approval. The workflow successfully gets the work-item into the approver's inbox for approval .I have tested the rule 20000026 individually as well using PFAC and the rule works fine. Despite all of the above when I put a trace on the workflow / business object BUS2105 for the event RELEASESTEPCREATED it gives me an error on agent determination and places the events in event queue.
2) Upon successful approval of the Approvers involved in release strategy the workflow stops at the task TS20000162 i.e. Request Released. The item goes to the inbox of the request initiator. Although all the activity for PR approval is completed unless the initiator logs into his/her SAP Inbox and opens the document in display mode the workflow is'nt completed. There are 2 entries 1 for each approver, thus i need to open and display document twice to complete the workflow. Is this standard behavior. If yes what is the use of the same ? Is there any way we can do away with this without developing a custom workflow maybe by automatically completing the workflow.
3) Also for the evaluation of the Release Strategy which is done dynamically when the transaction code ME54N/ME53N/ME52N etc. are opened. Post approval say a person quits the organization and roles are alocated to someone else. Will the previously approved PR show the name of the person who has the current roles for approval or the name of the person who has actually approved the PR?
Any help on the following issues would greatly be appreciated.
Regards,
Aseem
