Hi,
The requirement is to reduce the inventory of material by moving it from unrestricted to block stock and from blocked stock to scrap (using movement type 551) Result - As of now, for EWM plant the quantity reduced after scrap movement is replicated to ECC but quantity is further reduced from APO (from unrestricted use).
Meaning, quantity reduction discrepancy is there between ECC and APO.
For a non ewm environment (non EWM plant 9023), the quantity reduced in EWM, same is replicated in both ECC and APO.
For a non EWM plant (9023), the quantity after movement type 551 remains same in both ECC and APO.
But for an EWM plant (1015), APO shows a further reduction in quantity after 551 (which means it further reduces from unrestricted use stock, Ideally CO09 should show no reduction as only unrestricted use stock appears in CO09 and quantity that we have reduced from EWM is from blocked stock to make it scrap)
Hence wanted to know the reason for this discrepancy in EWM and IM environment.
Why Is 551 ( issue to scrap) movement type working differently when executed in conjunction with EWM ?
Please find attached the document for more details.

Original quantity in unrestricted use in ECC (MD04) –APO (CO09) is 500.
Using movement type 344, we blocked stock of 100. Remaining stock in ECC is 400
We are executing scrap for this blocked stock using movement type 551 (via EWM)
- On Checking ECC MD04 transaction has quantity 400 unrestricted
- But CO09 has 399 (which means 10 is reduced from unrestricted use stock)
