How to tell which Archiving Content Repositories are in use?

In transaction oac0, there are leftover content repositories from a company we merged with that have a server name that does not exist.  Is it safe to delete those content repositories? Is there a log or somewhere I can look to see if something is trying to use them or if they are truly obsolete?  The smicm logs show that all content repositories are polled every few minutes so the smicm log is quite full with attempts to connect to content repositories that don't exist.
