Hi guys,
We are on a GA version with ASE 16 and want to update to the latest released SP/PL.
On this site: Targeted ASE 16.0 Release Schedule and CR list Information - SAP ASE - SCN Wiki I get an overview when which PL/SP will release.
In Dec'15 SP02 PL02 was on target for Jan'16, but now they say that this SP is still just for CA ( only for (SAP ASE) Custom Applications *1).
After searching some SAP notes, I don't found any explanation of the release strategy for SP02 and the patches.
I'm also able to download the release SP02 with PL01, but I guess I cannot use it in our SAP environment, or?
Can anyone give me some detailed information about what is the difference between Custom Application and SAP on ASE and if it's better to wait for SP02 PL03 or SP01 PL03, or should I install SP01 PL02 and update later to SP02 SP0x?
